Pediatric Speech-Language Therapy Services
Our connection-based approach promotes a trusting relationship and incorporates a child's interests and unique learning style into each session. We strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where every child feels empowered to grow and succeed. Children make the most progress when they feel safe and valued. Learning should be fun!

Speech
Speech therapy is offered for children ages 4+ with a phonological delay, articulation disorder or Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Sessions support development of clear speech and use of age-appropriate speech sounds. At Hillside Speech, we use research based approaches including articulatory positioning, phonological awareness and principles of motor learning. Our goal is to help your child communicate with confidence!

Language
Therapy for language delays includes support for asking and answering questions, building vocabulary, responding to requests and directions, improving grammar and sentence structure and building skills to express everyday wants and needs. Improved language skills directly benefit a child's interactions with others and supports social-emotional well-being.

School Contracts
Hillside Speech partners with schools to provide support through short- and long-term contracts. Services are provided both onsite and via teletherapy and include providing comprehensive evaluations, writing detailed reports with measurable goals, developing IEPs, participating in meetings, individual and group sessions, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

High-Quality Teletherapy
Our teletherapy services bring customized speech therapy right to you! We use engaging, interactive tools to keep clients motivated and progressing in every session. Convenient, flexible, and proven to work—get the care you need in the comfort of home!

Summer Sessions
Are you concerned about regression of your child's speech and language skills while school is out? Speech practice over the summer is a great time to continue building on the skills they've gained and prevent emerging skills from slipping. Consistent practice is key to maintaining progress. Summer sessions are scheduled around your family's vacation plans, summer camps or other activities.
Getting Started

1
Consultation
Begin with a complimentary phone consultation directly with Jodi to determine if Hillside Speech is a good fit for your family. We'll discuss our services, answer questions and determine next steps which may include an evaluation, starting therapy, sharing resources or making referrals.
2
Evaluation
If your child doesn't have a recent evaluation or current IEP, a comprehensive assessment is recommended. This allows us to get more in-depth information about your child's abilities, strengths and challenges. Together, we'll review results and develop individualized goals that support you and your child.
3
Treatment
We make therapy fun for your child and convenient for your family. Sessions are typically 30 minutes long and are designed to meet the needs and interests of your child, while providing techniques to facilitate success outside of therapy. Caregiver involvement is always encouraged.
